Rezumat

Lucrarea de faţă prezintă un program complex - Reaper - de tipul DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), care poate constitui, pentru cei interesaţi în domeniu, o alternativă la alte programe profesionale cum ar fi Steinberg Cubase sau CakewalkSonar. Însă, flexibilitatea ridicată, faptul că este uşor de învăţat, portabilitatea şi accesibilitatea sunt elemente care-l recomandă deopotrivă şi pentru uzul didactic, fiind un instrument util atât profesorului cât şi studentului în procesul de predare/învăţare a tehnicilor de compoziţie/procesare audio.

ABSTRACT

This paper presents a complex software application - Reaper - DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) type, which may constitute, for those interested in the field, an alternative for other professional applications like Steinberg Cubase or Cakewalk Sonar. The main feature of the application is it's flexibility which, together with accessibility and increased portability, and especially the fact that it's easy to learn, recommends it for didactic use, as it is a useful tool for both teaches and students in the process of teaching/learning techniques for audio composing / processing.
