Rezumat

Unii dintre meşterii fierari tradiţonali aleg fierul de prelucrat după sonoritatea acestuia. Prin măsurători acustice de tip IT am cercetat care sunt structurile spectrale ce corespund feluritelor impresii sonore a meşterului. Astfel  am putut observa cum se reflectă„ascuţimea” (sharpness) acustică  în percepţia spontană a meşterului fierar.

ABSTRACT

Some of the traditional blacksmiths choose the iron by testing its sounds. By means of  IT acoustic measurements we investigated which spectral structures correspond to different sound perceptions of the craftsmen. Thus, we could see how the acoustic sharpness reflects the spontaneous sound perception of the blacksmith.
