Rezumat

Secolul XXI consolidează accesul cercetătorilor și al instituțiilor de cercetare la resursele bibliografice on-line, însă pe lângă beneficiile utilizării acestor resurse, identificăm și un anumit grad de pericol, în sensul colectării datelor avizate. Acesta este motivul pentru care industria de servicii IT a deschis o nișă în domeniul publicațiilor științifice, a bibliotecilor virtuale, la care accesul se face liber, pe bază de abonament sau contra cost pentru utilizarea fiecărui material care face obiectul studiului unui cercetător.

ABSTRACT

The 21st century enhances the access of researchers and research institutions to on-line bibliographic resources, but besides the benefits of using these resources, we also identify a certain degree of danger, within the meaning of collecting the approved data. This is the reason why the IT services industry opened a niche in the field of scientific publications and virtual libraries, access to which is free, by subscription or by charge for the use of each material which makes the object of study for a researcher.
