ABSTRACT

The twentieth century brought to the whole world the new experience of a special ethos, of a suitable notation and of some innovations that quickly infiltrated into all the substrates of the creative act of performance and in the understanding of the sound reality. The new inner quality of the modern musician also requires the approach of other methods than the traditional ones, able to offer a different type of information than the one strictly revealed by the score, than the one accessible so far by known methods.
Current musical notation is an emblematic system, being recognized worldwide. The symbols of musical notation indicate both sound-related aspects (sounds, accents) and non-sounds (music bars, clefs, key signatures). Most musical analyses are based on data extracted from music sheets, but in order for a computer to be able to identify and process them, the musical text needs to be codified, so that the musical notes become numbers and symbols in the information system.

REZUMAT

Secolul XX a adus întregii lumi experiența nouă a unui ethos special, a unei notații pe măsură și a unor inovații, care s-au infiltrat rapid în toate substraturile actului creator, interpretativ și de înțelegere a realității sonore. Noua calitate interioară a muzicianului modern necesită și abordarea altor metode decât cele tradiționale, capabile să ofere un alt tip de informație decât cea strict revelată de partitură, decât cea accesibilă până acum prin metode cunoscute.
Notația muzicală curentă este un sistem emblematic, deoarece este recunoscută la nivel mondial. Simbolurile notării muzicale indică atât aspecte sonore (sunete, accente), cât și non-sunete (bare de măsură, chei, armuri). Majoritatea analizelor muzicale se bazează pe datele extrase din partituri, însă pentru identificarea și procesarea acestora de către un computer textul muzical trebuie codificat, astfel încât notele muzicale vor deveni cifre și simboluri din sistemul informatic.
